Fred Phelps pickets a church in Phoenix, Arizona
On March 21, 1999, Fred Phelps and one other person from his "church"
picketed a small Methodist church at around 17th Ave. and Indian School
for daring to have Jimmy Creech as a guest speaker. Jimmy Creech
is a United Methodist Church pastor
who performed a covenant
service for two lesbian women.
